Positive: The penthouse suite was very spacious and within 5min walking distance of the old town. We had a wonderful view from our terrace that was on the roof, including a hot tub that made it a special experience. The apartment had windows all around so you could see everywhere, giving a lot of light!! It was a modern design in a very old building tastefully renovated.
Negative: As it tends to be with these very modern interiors, not practical. In the bathroom, no countertops to put anything, no towel racks or pegs to hang (1 small peg) The sink very beautiful but absolutely not practical, water always splashing out on the floors when brushing teeth etc…etc… Sleeping niche upstairs, I hit my head every morning getting up, no place for your bags or clothes…etc.. Overall, nice to look at.

Positive: The property was well-equipped, stylish and spacious. Beautiful views over Freiburg.
Negative: The air conditioning was pretty ineffective and only for the upper floor which made it difficult to sleep unless windows open which isn’t ideal in a bustling town. It was hard to carry our luggage up 6 flights of stairs.

Positive: The location is great and right next to the old town. The property has lots of character and was spacious. Tom was very friendly and helpful at checkin.
Negative: Not a great property for someone that is tall and not suitable if you are in anyway uncomfortable with stairs.

Positive: Very cool penthouse apartment very near (walking) restaurants and tourist attractions. Views from the patio were incredible. Very romantic setting for one or two couples. Tom the property manager was very helpful, punctual, and knowledgeable about the area.
Negative: Probably would not recommend for kids crawling or under age 5 as there are some staircases and spaces not safe for littles
